Vážení priatelia a domovariči piva.
Hop´n´rolla Home Brew Crew s láskavou podporou Pivovaru Hostinec v rámci Hop´n´rolla days organizuje tretí ročník degustačnej súťaže (23.8.2025 od 10:00) doma uvareného piva. Hop'n'Rolla Home Brew 2025
Vyhlásené boli kategórie:
A) 20A American Porter (výherná kategória z predošlého ročníka)
B) 21B Micro / Session IPA
(obsahuje celú kategóriu Specialty IPA (okrem iného Session Black IPA, Session Brown IPA, Session Red IPA, Session Rye IPA, Session White IPA, etc.), pri prihlasovaní treba uviesť štýl! ABV < 5%!)
C) 24A Witbier
D) 30A Sour Ale so zeleninou, korením, bylinkami
E) 17D, 22C, 22D, 22D BarleyWine / WheatWine / RyeWine
Deadline pre prihlasovanie je do 20.8.2025 do 23:59.
Štartovné / dar na pokrytie nákladov na súťaž za jednu vzorku piva bolo určené na 7 €.
Jeden súťažiaci môže prihlásiť do každej kategórie iba jedno pivo, t.j. maximálne 5 pív do celej súťaže.
Prihlásená vzorka piva musí byť doručená v 2 (dvoch) sklenených fľašiach alebo plechovkách (2 x 0,5l, resp. 2 x 0,33 l, 2 x 0,4l atď.).
Nepripúšťajú sa PET fľaše ani fľaše s etiketami, logami, potlačenými uzávermi či inými neodstánenými polepmi.
Pokiaľ tieto podmienky nebudú splnené, organizátor má právo súťažné vzorky zo súťaže vylúčiť.
Prihlásené vzorky v príslušnej kategórii budú hodnotené podľa medzinárodných pravidiel a kritérií systému BJCP 2021, kde je registrovaná aj celá súťaž, certifikovanými hodnotiteľmi zo Slovenska, ale i zahraničia 🇸🇰🇺🇸🇵🇱🇨🇿🇱🇺🇩🇪
Veľká šanca na výhru! Pri zisku bronzu 🥉 (60 a viac bodov) získaš diplom, pri zisku striebra 🥈 (76 a viac bodov) k nemu dostaneš aj nejakú malú cenu a pri zisku zlata 🥇 (90 a viac bodov) ďalšie ceny a suroviny na výrobu piva. Víťaz Best of show 🏅 strávi jeden deň pri varení a degustácii pív v pivovare Hostinec v Košiciach, kde po dohode použijeme práve tvoj recept!
Taktiež mailom dostaneš naskenované písomné hodnotenia (degustačné hárky) s odbornou senzorikou, prípadne feedbackom, čo nabudúce robiť alebo nerobiť :)
Organizátori súťaže si vyhradzujú právo zmien.

The Hop'n'Rolla Home Brew Crew with kind support of Pivovar Hostinec is organizing, the second year of the tasting competition (23rd of august 2025 from 10:00) of home brewed beer. Hop'n'Rolla Home Brew 2025
The following categories were announced:
A) 20A American Porter
(winning category from the previous year)
B) 21B Micro / Session IPA
(includes also entire Specialty IPA category (i.e. Session Black IPA, Session Brown IPA, Session Red IPA, Session Rye IPA, Session White IPA, etc.), but please write to notes the beer style! ABV < 5%!)
C) 24A Witbier
D) 30A Sour Ale with vegetables, spices or herbs
E) 17D, 22C, 22D BarleyWine / WheatWine / RyeWine
The deadline for registration is 20th of august, 2025 at 23:59.
The entry fee / donation to cover the costs of the competition for one beer sample was set at € 7.
One competitor can enter only one beer in each category, i.e. a maximum of 5 beers for the entire competition. The registered beer sample must be delivered in 2 (two) glass bottles or cans (2 x 0.5 l, or 2 x 0.33 l, 2 x 0.4 l, etc.).
PET bottles or bottles with labels, logos, printed caps or other non-removable stickers are not allowed.
If these conditions are not fulfilled, the organizer has the right to exclude the competition samples from the competition.
The submitted beer samples in the relevant category will be judged according to the international rules and criteria of the BJCP 2021 system, where the entire competition is also registered, by certified judges from Slovakia and abroad 🇸🇰🇺🇸🇵🇱🇨🇿🇱🇺🇩🇪
Great chance to win! If you win bronze 🥉 (60 or more points) you will receive a diploma, if you win silver 🥈 (76 or more points) you will also receive a small prize, and if you win gold 🥇 (90 or more points) you will receive additional prizes and beer ingredients. The winner of Best of Show 🏅 will spend one day brewing and tasting beers at the Pivovar Hostinec in Košice, where we will use your recipe by agreement! You will also receive scanned written score sheets by email with expert sensory analysis, or feedback on what to do or not to do next time :)
The competition organizers reserve the right to make changes.
